Information

In northern Bali, there is Singaraja, which was once the capital and is still the center of the north, and Lovina, a resort area located about 8 km west of it. Many people live in Singaraja, and the average travel time by car from around Kuta is about 3 hours, depending on the traffic on the road. Lovina has waterfalls, which are spiritual spots, and hot springs in the eastern part. If you go west, you will find an international park. The waves are calm and not suitable for surfing, but it is well known as a place to enjoy beautiful sunsets and dolphin watching, making it a popular resort visited by many tourists.
There aren't many surfers, so if you want to express the overall atmosphere of the north, the word "calm" would be perfect. A little south, there is also Bedugul, which is famous for fresh vegetables shipped throughout Bali.
